Team News: Yannick Bolasie, Ashley Williams start for Everton

Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams make their Everton debuts as Peter Crouch starts up front for Stoke City.

Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams make their Everton debuts this afternoon, while Peter Crouch starts up front for Stoke City at Goodison Park.

Former Swansea City captain Williams takes his place alongside captain Phil Jagielka in the heart of the Toffees' defence, with Ramiro Funes Mori the man to make way.

Bolasie displaces James McCarthy in the defensive midfield line, where he joins up with Idrissa Gueye and Gareth Barry, while Kevin Mirallas and Ross Barkley provide support for Romelu Lukaku up front as Gerard Deulofeu drops to the bench.

Potters manager Mark Hughes opts to play Crouch up front following his midweek hat-trick against Stevenage in the EFL Cup, forcing Mame Biram Diouf back into a supportive role and Bojan Krkic onto the bench.

One other change sees Geoff Cameron preferred to Philipp Wollscheid, who has been linked with a transfer to Wolfsburg, in the heart of the defence.
