Preview: Cardiff City vs. Everton

Sports Mole previews Everton's trip to Cardiff City this weekend.

Everton travel to Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon, still looking for their first win of the season.

Two draws in Roberto Martinez's opening two games do not represent the worst start for the Toffees, but their fans will be hoping for a win against one of the division's newest sides.

That will not be an easy task though, as Manchester City found out when they visited South Wales last week.

Cardiff also managed to secure their League Cup progress this week, while resting a number of key players. Their manager Malky Mackay was heavily linked with the Everton job when David Moyes left last season.

Recent form

Cardiff: LW

Everton: DD

Possible starting lineups

Cardiff: Marshall; Connolly, Caulker, Turner, Taylor; Medel, Kim, Gunnarsson; Whittingham, Campbell, Bellamy

Everton: Howard; Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines; Mirallas, Barkley, Osman, Pienarr; Fellaini; Kone

Sports Mole says: 1-2
