Thiago Silva supports Paris Saint-Germain pursuit of Eden Hazard

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva says that he would welcome Chelsea winger Eden Hazard to Parc des Princes with open arms this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has said that he would welcome Chelsea winger Eden Hazard to Parc des Princes with open arms.

Recent reports in France have claimed that PSG are considering a summer move for the 23-year-old, who netted his first Premier League hat-trick in Saturday's 3-0 win over Newcastle United.

"I would welcome Hazard with open arms, like we did all recruits," Silva told reporters.

"We need players like him to achieve our project and win everything. He is so strong tactically and technically. All the great players are welcome in Paris."

PSG are currently five points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
