Gary Cahill hails hat-trick hero Eden Hazard

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill heaps praise upon Eden Hazard for the Belgian winger's star performance during Saturday's 3-0 win over Newcastle United.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill heaped praise upon Eden Hazard after the Belgian star bagged his first Premier League hat-trick in Saturday's 3-0 win over Newcastle United.

Hazard was the star of the show at Stamford Bridge, netting twice from open play in the first half, before scoring from the penalty spot on 63 minutes.

"I think he's grown as a player and he's becoming better and better," Cahill told reporters.

"He's producing some world-class football for us at the minute. He was the difference in the first half and thoroughly deserved his hat-trick and at the minute, he's playing some great football."

Chelsea's win catapulted the Blues to the top of the Premier League table, as Arsenal were defeated 5-1 by Liverpool earlier in the day.
