Chelsea are reportedly prepared to break the club's transfer record in order to complete the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho next summer.

Chelsea are will reportedly break their transfer record in order to complete the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho next summer.

The Englishman has emerged as one of world football's hottest properties, netting 17 goals and claiming 20 assists in the Bundesliga since the start of last season.

Reports have heavily linked Sancho with a move away from Dortmund next summer - especially after he was left unsettled by manager Lucien Favre publicly questioning his attitude last month.

According to Goal.com, Chelsea are willing to surpass the £72m spent on Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018 on Sancho, who is said to be valued at over £100m.

There is a belief among the West London club's hierarchy that they can win the race for Sancho due to the player's strong relationship with Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

However, reports have linked Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid with establishing an interest in signing the 20-year-old next summer.
