Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Chelsea interim head coach Frank Lampard is expected to shuffle his pack for the team's final match of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign against Newcastle United.

The Blues suffered a 4-1 loss at Manchester United on Thursday night, which left them down in 12th position in the table, and they could finish as low as 14th on the final matchday.

Benoit Badiashile, Armando Broja, Raheem Sterling, N'Golo Kante, Marc Cucurella, Ben Chilwell and Marcus Bettinelli remain unavailable for selection on Sunday due to injury.

Reece James is also out, having suffered a setback in his recovery from a thigh issue, but Mason Mount has a slight chance of returning, with the Englishman recovering from an abdominal operation.

Lampard is set to make changes to the side that started at Old Trafford, with Thiago Silva, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Joao Felix potentially coming into the XI.

Mateo Kovacic's fitness will need to be assessed, and the Croatian could return to the squad for this match.

Wesley Fofana's disappointing performance against Man United could see him drop out of the side, but Lewis Hall may have done enough to keep hold of his defensive role.

Conor Gallagher was one of Chelsea's brighter performers against Erik ten Hag's side, and the 23-year-old may also be handed another start on the final matchday of the campaign.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Silva, Koulibaly, Hall; Gallagher, Fernandez, Loftus-Cheek; Pulisic, Felix, Madueke
