Eduardo Berizzo delighted with Celta Vigo form

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo praises his team following their 2-1 win over Villarreal at the weekend, which continued their unbeaten start to the new La Liga season.

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo has branded his side "a solid team who work hard" after the Sky Blues continued their strong start to the campaign with a 2-1 win over Villarreal at the weekend.

Celta, who have still not been beaten in La Liga this term, netted late on through Nolito at El Madrigal to claim all the points and move into second position in the table.

"We're happy to have beaten a team like Villarreal, who equalised, despite being a man down, but our quality and drive gave us the win," Berizzo told reporters.

"We were punished for a lack of ambition via their equaliser [at the beginning of the second half], but in the end we responded.

"Our objectives will not change every seven days, even if we think we can beat anybody on any pitch because we're a solid team who work hard and pose our opponents a lot of problems."

Celta, who have already scored 17 times in Spain's top flight this term, finished eighth in La Liga last season.
