Saturday's Serie A predictions including Cagliari vs. Parma

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Serie A fixtures, including Cagliari vs. Parma.

After another high-scoring heartbreak last weekend, Serie A's bottom side Crotone hope to salvage some pride against mid-table Udinese on Saturday, as the Calabrian club are now surely doomed to demotion next month.

Improved fortunes in the second half of the season, meanwhile, have afforded their visitors a potentially stress-free conclusion to the campaign, though they will be determined to recover from suffering three straight losses.

We say: Crotone 2-1 Udinese

Cosmi's Crotone can pick up just their fifth win of the season on Saturday - too late to spark ambitions of survival, but fair reward for all-in performances and attacking commitment of late.

Udinese are in danger of drifting towards the end of their mediocre campaign and could add another defeat to a worrying trend, as they are set to be outscored by their more potent hosts.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sampdoria vs. Hellas Verona (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Mid-table counterparts Sampdoria and Hellas Verona meet at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday, separated by one place and five points in the Serie A standings.

While the Blucerchiati could close the gap to their visitors with a win, ninth-placed Verona are seeking to secure successive top-half finishes since returning to the elite level.

We say: Sampdoria 1-0 Hellas Verona

Hit-and-miss Sampdoria may strike lucky against a wavering Verona side, as they possess a stronger set of attacking options and have the weight of history on their side: Hellas have not won in Genoa for more than 25 years.

With little left to play for except pride and minor placings, Claudio Ranieri's men can edge past one of the toughest defences in Calcio to pick up only their second win in nine.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Sassuolo vs. Fiorentina (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Having picked up just five points from their past six games, Fiorentina travel to Sassuolo on Saturday in danger of sleepwalking into relegation trouble.

Their hosts, meanwhile, have all but assured a top-half Serie A finish following Monday's 11th win of the campaign and will be favourites to add another at Stadio Artemio Franchi this weekend.

We say: Sassuolo 1-1 Fiorentina

Though Fiorentina are still in need of points to secure Serie A football next term, their away record has been particularly woeful this season, while their mid-table hosts can play without fear or restriction.

Only the absence of key attacking personnel might undo Sassuolo's pursuit of a win, as they continue to establish themselves as a top-half mainstay in the Italian top flight.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Cagliari vs. Parma (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Separated by just two points at the wrong end of the Serie A standings, 18th-placed Cagliari host the side just below them on Saturday, as Parma arrive in Sardinia seeking a miracle to survive.

With time fast running out, the losers at the Sardegna Arena are surely bound for demotion next month, as next-closest club Torino are five points ahead of the hosts with a game still in hand.

We say: Cagliari 1-0 Parma

This imperiled pair are two of the four Serie A sides which have failed to score on the most occasions this term - and they are similarly placed in terms of shot conversion rates - so a tense, low-scoring affair could be in prospect.

Cagliari can stay in with an outside shot of extending their four-year stay in the top flight, despite their modest attacking threat, as the grit and experience of Diego Godin, Radja Nainggolan and Ragnar Klavan may prove crucial in seeing them over the line against Serie B-bound Parma.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
