Team News: Romelu Lukaku returns for Everton

Romelu Lukaku is recalled to the Everton starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League clash away to Burnley as Roberto Martinez makes six changes in total.

Romelu Lukaku has returned to the Everton starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.

The £28m striker, who has scored three goals this season, was rested for his team's 0-0 draw away to Lille in the Europa League in midweek.

Toffees manager Roberto Martinez has made a further five changes, with Antolin Alcaraz, Seamus Coleman, Steven Naismith, James McCarthy and Leon Osman all being given the nod by the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, Ross Barkley starts on the bench alongside the likes of Aiden McGeady, Darron Gibson and Steven Pienaar.

Burnley have made just the one change on the back of last weekend's 3-1 defeat at home to West Ham United as Stephen Ward replaces Ben Mee at left-back.

Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Ward; Kightly, Jones, Arfield, Boyd; Jutkiewicz, Ings
Subs Gilks, Keane, Wallace, Barnes, Sordell, Chalobah, Mee

Everton: Howard; Baines, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Coleman; Naismith, McCarthy, Barry, Osman; Eto'o, Lukaku
Subs: Robles, Hibbert, Gibson, McGeady, Barkley, Pienaar, Besic
