Marlon Pack targeting maximum points at St Andrew's

Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack wants to claim a second win of the season this weekend in order to reward the large band of travelling supporters.

Marlon Pack is hoping to reward Bristol City's travelling supporters this weekend by firing his side to victory.

The Robins have won just one of their opening five fixtures since gaining promotion back into the second tier.

Around 2,600 City fans are expected to make the trip to St Andrew's on Saturday afternoon for the crunch clash against Birmingham City, and Pack has targeted all three points against an unbeaten Blues side.

"It's always good to have a big away following behind you up and down the country," the midfielder told the club's official website. "We appreciate everything they go through. The fans certainly helped us last year; they're always in good voice.

"I actually remember last year at Coventry City we absolutely packed out the away end and I managed to get my first City goal. It would be nice to get my first Championship goal on Saturday, but I'd sooner take the three points.

"Our fans have done their bit by selling out the away end tomorrow and now it's up to us to get the result on the day to give them something to cheer about."

City find themselves sitting in 20th place after five games of the season.
