Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Brighton and Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Brighton & Hove Albion are currently fifth in the Championship after a poor run of form over the last three games. They have scored just one goal in that time, with the last result being a 0-0 draw away to Derby County.

Middlesbrough have suffered with inconsistency so far this term and currently sit 11th. They had a good result last time by beating Watford 2-1 away but have not kept a clean sheet in their last six games.

For Brighton, top-scorer Craig Mackail-Smith could be fit, but is unlikely to start. Brighton have scored just one goal in his absence, and Ashley Barnes likely to continue to lead the line without him.

For Middlesbrough, top scorer Lukas Jutkiewicz is likely to continue to partner Marvin Emnes up front, who has three goals himself. On-loan Josh McEachran should retain his place as playmaker.

Sports Mole says: 2-0
