Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman expresses his eagerness to sign new players following his team's 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Dougie Freedman has conceded that he would like to add to his Bolton Wanderers squad before the end of the transfer window.

The Scot has already signed seven players this summer, including Alex Baptiste and Jermaine Beckford.

However, speaking after his side's 1-1 draw with Burnley earlier today, Freedman admitted that his squad could do with "one or two more" additions.

"You're always going to say you need one or two more players," he told Sky Sports News. "You've got to be careful with the amount of games you play in the Championship and, with one or two more players in with the right desire and hunger, we should be looking up a bit."

Meanwhile, on the draw with Burnley, Freedman added: "It's a well-earned point. It was a local derby and we had to make sure we had the grit and determination, and we certainly showed that.

"There were periods in the game where we showed our quality, especially in the first half, but we couldn't get the goal to get the lead. I thought maybe our crossing and finishing could have been better, we petered out a little bit, but our approach play and how we got in the pockets was good."

Next up for the Trotters is a trip to Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night for a Capital One Cup tie.
