Barnsley sign Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap on loan until the end of the season while former Tottenham striker Mido leaves the club.

Barnsley have signed Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap on loan until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old has fallen out of the first-team picture at the Britannia Stadium this season, making just one appearance against Reading in August.

Delap is joined at Oakwell by Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris O'Grady, also on loan until the end of campaign.

Meanwhile, Egyptian striker Mido has left the club after making one appearance for David Flitcroft's side following his move last summer.
