Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek, who they feel could act as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

Barcelona have reportedly identified AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek as a potential replacement for Luis Suarez.

While the Uruguayan remains as first choice under Ernesto Valverde, there has been speculation regarding the attacker's future at Camp Nou.

With the 32-year-old only having a contract until 2021, Calciomercato claims that Barcelona have began to consider alternatives.

The report says that Piatek has entered their thinking, with the 24-year-old having netted 11 times from 24 outings in Serie A since moving to San Siro at the beginning of the year.

Barcelona are allegedly willing to pay £44m to complete a deal, although Milan will likely demand well in excess of that figure.

Piatek still has just under four years left on his contract at the Italian outfit.
