Sergio Garcia: 'We can beat Barcelona'

Espanyol forward Sergio Garcia is "convinced" that his side can beat Barcelona at the weekend.

Espanyol forward Sergio Garcia is confident that his team can overcome Barcelona in the Catalan derby this weekend.

Espanyol will enter the match off the back of a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions and Garcia has predicted a surprise result on Saturday.

"The team is really excited. We're not going to go pass-for-pass with Barca," Garcia told Sport.

"We are convinced we can get a good win at home with our fans and we will give everything to make it happen.

"We will not relax [before the end of the season]. We always want the maximum and if the maximum is to be high up the table then that's what we'll do."

Espanyol currently sit 10th in La Liga, just four points off the top seven.
