Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez to miss Champions League clash with Chelsea?

Barcelona will reportedly be without midfielder Denis Suarez for next week's Champions League encounter with Chelsea at Camp Nou.

Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has reportedly been ruled out of the club's Champions League encounter with Chelsea.

Suarez has only played a bit-part role under Ernesto Valverde, but the Spaniard was in contention for a place on the bench with Andres Iniesta also struggling through injury.

However, according to Football.london, the 24-year-old will play no part of the second leg of the last-16 tie at Camp Nou having sustained an adductor muscle strain.

Suarez had been playing in the first leg of the Catalan Super Cup against Espanyol before suffering the issue, which will sideline him for up to three weeks.

Barcelona currently hold a slender advantage in the tie having secured a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
