AZ come from behind to beat NAC Breda

European hopefuls AZ come out on top in a thrilling five-goal Eredivisie clash with struggling NAC Breda at the AFAS Stadion.

AZ came out on top 3-2 in a thrilling Eredivisie clash with NAC Breda which saw the lead change three times at the AFAS Stadion.

Steven Berghuis opened the scoring in spectacular fashion when he collected a back-heel pass 30 yards out and lashed a first-time strike into the bottom corner in the 12th minute.

NAC countered with two quickfire goals that saw them lead at the break. Jeffrey Sarpong's vicious half-volley from a tight angle on 34 minutes preceded Adnane Tighadouini's effort four minutes later.

The AZ fightback kicked off in the 83rd minute when Robert Muhren levelled proceedings, before all three points were sealed two minutes from time through Aron Johansson's 35-yard rocket.

The result puts fourth-placed AZ level on points with Feyenoord just above them in the Eredivisie table, while NAC remain 16th and in relegation trouble .
