Atletico Madrid are keen to offload Fernando Torres at the end of the season, according to a report.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen to offload Fernando Torres at the end of the season.

Torres, 33, started his professional career with Atletico - scoring 91 times for the Spanish giants - before leaving for Liverpool in the summer of 2007.

The former Spain international returned to Atletico in 2015, and managed 12 goals during the 2015-16 season before netting 10 times in all competitions last term.

Torres has struggled for regular action during the 2017-18 campaign, however, managing just two league goals.

According to Sport, Atletico boss Diego Simeone wants rid of the experienced forward this summer, and he is hopeful that Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang will make a move.

Torres has only started three La Liga matches for Atletico this term, although he did appear in five of their six Champions League group matches earlier in the season.
