Antoine Griezmann "very happy" with Atletico Madrid win

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann reveals his delight after scoring twice in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Celta Vigo.

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has revealed his delight after scoring twice in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Celta Vigo.

Atletico started the new La Liga campaign with back-to-back draws, but put their first three points on the board on Saturday as Griezmann (2), Koke and Angel Correa netted in a comfortable success.

"We needed a game like that and I'm very happy for the team. We had a great match. We're used to playing at a high pace during games, and we did so [on Saturday]. They had a great first half, but in the second half we did things very well," Griezmann told reporters.

"On a personal level, I'm also very happy. I'm still getting back up to speed, but I'm trying to give everything. I'm very happy for the goals and assist."

Griezmann continues to be linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly prepare world-record moves for the France international.
