Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has claimed that any big-name signings this summer would give the club a "massive lift".
The Gunners have been repeatedly linked with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, while Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is also understood to be of interest.
"Everyone at the training ground has been talking about big-name signings," Wilshere is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"It would give us all such a massive lift. Not just the players but the staff and everybody connected to Arsenal."
Wilshere and his teammates are currently on a pre-season tour of Asia.
