Arsene Wenger: 'Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere out against Crystal Palace'

Arsene Wenger confirms that Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere will miss Sunday's home game with Crystal Palace.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that neither Aaron Ramsey nor Jack Wilshere will be fit to play in Sunday's home clash against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Wenger said that while Wilshere would likely be fit for the following week's game against Liverpool, Ramsey remains a few weeks away from a return.

"We have good news [on Wilshere]," Wenger told the club's official website. "For Sunday he will be short but he has a chance to be available for the week after at Liverpool.

"Ramsey will be out for longer because he had a setback and it doesn't look too good. It is matter of some weeks for him."

Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Southampton on Tuesday has seen them drop to second in the Premier League.
