Nice manager Patrick Vieira admits that he would regard any future job in the Premier League as 'a dream opportunity'.

Former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira has acknowledged that he would like to manage in the Premier League.

Having impressed during his first role in the dugout at New York City FC, Vieira is now in his second season in charge of Nice, who sit in 13th place in the Ligue 1 standings.

However, at a time when he is being linked with a switch to the Gunners, Vieira has admitted that he 'dreams' of managing an English team.

The Frenchman is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "You dream about coaching one day in the Premier League. You will want to coach one of the teams that you play for.

"But you know what I am really focusing at the moment is how we can improve in Nice, to do better in the league. My only focus at the moment is to try to get the best of my players, to improve the quality of our game and to be better in the league."

Ex-teammate Emmanuel Petit has claimed that Arsenal would benefit from having Vieira replace Unai Emery.
