Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli reveals that he would like to remain at the Emirates for the entirety of his playing career.

Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli has announced his desire to remain at the Emirates for the whole of his career.

The 20-year-old made an immediate impression at the club following his arrival in the summer of 2019 and has now established himself as a regular starter under Mikel Arteta.

Martinelli is under contract at Arsenal until 2024 with the option of a further year, and the Olympic gold medallist can see himself hanging up his boots in North London.

Speaking to ESPN Brazil, the former Ituano starlet said: "We have a young group, we have a lot of time ahead of us, players with a lot of quality, I think we will achieve great things.

"Our focus is the Champions League. Fighting for that top four. A club like Arsenal has to be in the Champions League. It's our total focus. We always want more. Of course, Arsenal are a giant team.

"If I can, I'll stay here my whole life. I want to conquer things, as I said, I want to stay here and win titles, with these wonderful fans, my teammates."

Martinelli has amassed 16 goals and nine assists in 71 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, including four strikes and two assists from 16 Premier League games this term.
