Half-Time Report: Jeremy Hill touchdowns put Cincinnati Bengals ahead

Two touchdowns from Jeremy Hill give the Cincinnati Bengals a 24-0 lead over the Oakland Raiders at half time in their week one NFL game.

Jeremy Hill scored two first-half touchdowns to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a 24-0 lead over the Oakland Raiders in their week one game in the 2015 NFL season this evening.

Tyler Eifert had a string of early receptions for the Bengals as they moved towards the endzone, but it was Hill who carried it over for the visitors, powering across the line from three yards out.

AJ Green and Mohamed Sanu both made catches as Andy Dalton tried to get the ball back into Raiders territory, but the drive stalled, leaving Mike Nugent to kick a field goal, extending the Bengals' lead to 10 points.

The Raiders were dealt a further blow when quarterback Derek Carr was forced into the locker room with a hand injury later in the second quarter, bringing Matt McGloin into the game.

However, it was Cincinnati who added to the scoreboard before the break when Dalton used his receivers to get close to the endzone again before handing off to Hill for another short rushing touchdown.

The Raiders offense continued to struggle with Carr still sidelined, allowing Dalton to get the ball back before the break, and the quarterback launched the ball deep to find Eifert at the back of the endzone, extending the AFC North side's lead further just before the interval.
