The uncle of Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is reportedly shot dead during a robbery in Greater Rosario, Argentina.

The uncle of Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has reportedly been shot dead in Argentina.

Reports have claimed that 60-year-old Jorge Lavezzi was killed from a shot to the head while resisting an armed robbery in Greater Rosario.

According to ITV.com, Police have confirmed that the body of Lavezzi was found inside his Ford truck in Santa Fe province.

Jorge was the brother of the 28-year-old footballer's father.
