French investigators arrive in Argentina to discover how two helicopters collided while filming reality TV show Dropped, killing three sports stars.

French investigators arrived in Argentina on Tuesday to discover the reasons behind a helicopter crash that killed three French sports stars, including two Olympians.

Swimmer Camille Muffat, 25, boxer Alexis Vastine, 28, and yachtswoman Florence Arthaud, 57, died when two helicopters collided while filming reality TV survival show Dropped.

According to The Guardian, the helicopters took off from a football pitch in good flying conditions and then collided mid-air before crashing to the ground and catching fire.

The three sports stars perished, as well as five other French nationals and two Argentine pilots.
