Steven Gerrard's Warehouse restaurant 'to close down'

The Warehouse restaurant owned by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will reportedly close down in April after 20 years of business.

A restaurant owned by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will reportedly close down in April.

The Merseyside eatery called Warehouse has been running for 20 years, and Gerrard first got involved in the venue back in 2010.

Southport businessman Paul Adams opened the restaurant two decades ago, but welcomed the former England skipper on board when the two became friends.

According to the Liverpool Echo, employees from the restaurant will be transferred to a new bar owned by Adams in Exchange Flags in the city centre.

Refurbishments costing £250,000 were made to the interior of Warehouse following Gerrard's arrival.
