Bournemouth have been granted unanimous approval by a local council for a new training complex.
The Borough of Poole approved the proposal to build the multi-million pound facility on the 57-acre Canford Magna Golf Club.
Bournemouth's plans, which were submitted in August, now require approval by the Secretary of State.
The Cherries' proposed complex would bring the first team, development sides and academy facilities into one location and would also include 10 full-size pitches, an indoor space and other operational buildings.
"A new training complex will be a huge step forward for the club and we have endeavoured to propose one which is befitting of a Premier League club, while also providing the perfect environment - both sporting and educational - to develop youngsters in the area," Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said in a statement.
"It was important that we designed a facility that is sympathetic to the green belt site it is located on and we believe this is something the whole region can be proud of."
In July, the Cherries confirmed their intention to build a new stadium within Kings Park, and are expected to submit plans to Bournemouth Borough Council next year.
