Kenny Jackett says that Wolverhampton Wanderers can still be promoted through the playoffs this season, despite dropping points against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kenny Jackett has said that Wolverhampton Wanderers can still get promoted this season, despite being three points behind the playoff places with nine matches remaining.

Wolves could only gain a point against Brighton & Hove Albion in their Championship match at the Amex Stadium today.

"It was a close game and a fantastic save at the end to deny us," Jackett told Sky Sports News.

"But we have to keep pushing; two teams above us lost and we have two important games coming up. We would have loved three points, but thin dividing lines decide games in the Championship.

"We've not had a bad season at all. A number of clubs in the Championship are looking for promotion, including us, and it is still open for us."

Wolves are back in action when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Molineux on Tuesday night.
