Wigan are expected to welcome back Hugo Rodallega to the side to face Everton, while Nikica Jelavic is likely to make his Toffees debut at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Athletic are desperate to pick up points against Everton as they sit at the bottom of the Premier League in danger of dropping into the Championship.

The Toffees will be buoyed by their 1-0 win over title challengers Manchester City when they visit the DW Stadium tomorrow.

Roberto Martinez is likely to recall striker Hugo Rodallega to the starting XI after the Spaniard took the decision to drop the 26-year-old from the side that lost 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday following speculation over his future.

While Rodallega is likely to start up front, Franco Di Santo is expected to be sidelined following a dangerous challenge from Spurs' Benoit Assou-Ekotto in midweek.

Everton continue with problems in defence as Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin remain out of action with injury, while new signing Nikica Jelavic is expected to make his debut for the Merseyside club.

Current form:

Wigan Athletic: DLLLLL
Everton: WLDDWW

Possible lineups:

Wigan Athletic: Al Habsi; Stam, Caldwell, Boyce, Figueroa; McArthur, Watson, McCarthy; Moses, Beausejour; Rodallega

Everton: Howard; Neville, Hibbert, Heitinga, Baines; Gibson, Fellaini; Donavon, Cahill, Pienaar; Jelavic

Sports Mole says: 0-2
