Roberto Martinez frustrated by draw

Roberto Martinez believes that his Wigan side were dealt a "football injustice" after they failed to beat West Brom at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez was left frustrated after his side were held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion at the DW Stadium this afternoon.

The Latics could have climbed out of the bottom three with a win but were denied victory when former player Paul Scharner headed the Baggies an equaliser.

Martinez believes that his side were "dominant" throughout the match and that they deserved to collect all three points.

"In many ways you share a feeling of football injustice because I thought the performance was dominant," he said.

"We created chance after chance and we could have finished the game winning by a margin of three or four goals that's how dominant we were.

"Unfortunately it has been once more where the good play doesn't reflect in the scoreline and that's been the frustration that we end up with in the game."

Wigan remain bottom of the Premier League, but are just a point from safety.
