West Ham United forward Albian Ajeti reportedly eyes a January loan move away from the London Stadium.

West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti is reportedly eyeing a loan move away from the Hammers in January, having struggled for first-team football this season.

The 22-year-old, who moved to the London Stadium from Basel over the summer, has only made five Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.

According to Sky Sports News, Ajeti is open to leaving West Ham next month, although the Switzerland international's options are limited due to UEFA rules.

The forward has already played competitive games for two clubs this season, meaning that he would only be allowed to join a team in a league starting a new campaign at the start of 2020, which includes Sweden, Japan and the United States.

A number of European sides had allegedly approached West Ham over a loan move before realising that they would not be able to register the attacker until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Ajeti scored 43 times in 96 appearances for Basel before securing a move to Manuel Pellegrini's side, but he has found himself down the pecking order despite the team's struggles in the final third of the field.
