Aruna Dindane eyes Premier League return

Former Portsmouth striker Aruna Dindane says that he wants to return to the Premier League next season although he has options to play in France, Portugal and Turkey.

Ivorian striker Aruna Dindane has revealed that he wants to return to the Premier League at the end of the season when his current contract with Al-Sailiya runs out.

The 32-year-old played for Portsmouth in the English top flight on loan from Lens during the 2009-10 campaign.

"I am a free agent at the end of the season," Sky Sports News quotes Dindane as saying. "I have contacts to return to Ligue 1, but I want to play in the Premier League again.

"I liked it at Portsmouth. It was a difficult time for the club when I was there, but I managed to score 10 goals despite missing a lot of games. Now I want to play there again.

"There are some contacts with clubs. My agent is working on things. I have options in Europe. There are clubs in France, Portugal and Turkey, but I want to play in England."

Dindane joined Qatari club Al-Sailiya in May 2012 on a one-year contract.
