Michael Laudrup reveals striker dilemma

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup reveals that he could be forced to face Hull City on Monday without a recognised striker.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has admitted that he could be without all three of his strikers for the visit of Hull City on Monday evening.

Alvaro Vasquez joined Wilfried Bony and Michu on the sidelines when he suffered a groin strain during his team's 3-0 win Newcastle United on Wednesday, but despite the dilemma, Laudrup has indicated that he isn't prepared to rush any of his attacking trio back to action.

The 49-year-old told the South Wales Evening Post: "Alvaro hasn't played much recently, and then suddenly, he had to play Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday. I knew a third game in six days would be a danger, but there was no alternative for us.

"Is Michu fit? Maybe. But he is definitely not match fit. We have to bring him back carefully."

Bony, who suffered a hamstring strain against Valencia last week, is not ready to return to training.
