Mark Hughes: "No complaints" over Arsenal loss

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes concedes that his team were second best in their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Mark Hughes has admitted that his Stoke City side were "well beaten" by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The hosts opened the scoring early on through Laurent Koscielny, before two goals from Alexis Sanchez secured a 3-0 victory.

Speaking after the final whistle, Hughes conceded that he had "no complaints" about the outcome.

"We got off to a poor start and fell behind early. Our confidence waned from then on and we were a little bit slower in our work and our concentration. We needed to stay in the game as long as we could really," he told BBC Sport.

"We never got to grips in wide areas really to deal with the talent Arsenal have coming forward. We were well beaten on the day and we can have no complaints."

The defeat leaves Stoke 11th in the Premier League standings.
