Football League roundup: Stevenage hold Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday night's League One and League Two matches.

League One leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers could not extend their lead at the top of the table after being held to a goalless draw against Stevenage.

Closest challengers Brentford were unable to take advantage of their slip as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Port Vale triumphed 2-1 against Crawley Town in their mid-table clash at Vale Park. A penalty from Billy Clarke gave Crawley the lead before the break, but second-half strikes from Billy Knott and Doug Loft ensured a return to winning ways for the home side, as both teams ended the night with 10 men.

There was a third goalless draw in the division this evening, as Coventry City and Bradford City both failed to find the net in their meeting at Sixfields.

In tonight's only match from League Two, Bury claimed a 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers. Hallam Hope gave the hosts an early lead, but a goal from Kaid Mohamed levelled the scores on the stroke of half time. With 10 minutes left to play, Tom Soares grabbed the Shakers' second of the night, to extend their unbeaten league run to four games.

Results in full: League One: Coventry 0-0 Bradford City, Port Vale 2-1 Crawley Sheffield United 0-0 Brentford, Stevenage 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers League Two: Bury 2-1 Bristol Rovers
