Neil Warnock 'disappointed' with Tottenham Hotspur stalemate

Neil Warnock believes that Crystal Palace should have won "three or four nil" against Tottenham at White Hart Lane after failing to take their chances in a 0-0 draw.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has admitted that he was left feeling disappointed by his side's goalless draw against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday afternoon.

The Eagles had the better of things at White Hart Lane, but were largely thwarted by the performance of Spurs stopper Hugo Lloris.

Despite praising the performances of attacking trio Yannick Bolasie, Wilfried Zaha and Marouane Chamakh, Warnock acknowledges that Palace must take their chances if they are to climb up the Premier League table.

Asked if he was disappointed with the stalemate, the 66-year-old told reporters: "Oh God, I am. The opportunity was to come to White Hart Lane and get three points.

"But when the chips are down, we're that kind of club, we love to prove people wrong. When we play teams that are supposed to beat us we probably enjoy those games more.

"We've had some great chances, if one of the top teams had our chances they would have won three or four nil."

Palace, who are now 15th in the standings, return to action next weekend when they host Stoke City.
