Rafael van der Vaart: 'Son Heung-min will be a success at Tottenham Hotspur'

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart believes that Son Heung-min has everything to become a success at the Premier League club.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has suggested that new signing Son Heung-min has everything required to become a success at the club.

Spurs made Son their third most expensive capture during the summer window, and Van der Vaart has since backed his former Hamburg teammate to deliver in the Premier League.

"Spurs is not a bad move for Son," Van der Vaart told the Evening Standard.

"He was a great talent when I was playing with him at Hamburg and I think he has everything to be a success at Tottenham."

Son is expected to make his Spurs debut away at Sunderland on Sunday.
