Hugo Lloris hails hard-working Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris praises the team for their hard-working performance during Saturday's victory over Stoke City.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has praised the team for their hard-working performance during Saturday's 1-0 win at Stoke City.

Spurs took a step closer to European qualification at the Britannia Stadium as Danny Rose's first-half goal saw them come away with the three points.

"We expected a tough game and that was the case," Lloris told the club's official website. "We were strong and had good chances to score. We deserved to score one or two more but it's okay, 1-0 is a great result for us.

"We all worked hard for each other and when that's the case, it's difficult to beat us."

Tottenham continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday with a trip to London rivals West Ham United.
