Harry Kane: 'I was itching to get hat-trick against Swansea City'

Harry Kane says that he was disappointed not to score a hat-trick in Tottenham Hotspur's 5-0 thrashing of Swansea City on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has expressed his disappointment at failing to register a hat-trick in his side's 5-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday.

The England international scored a brace against the struggling Welsh outfit, taking his tally to six goals in his five games since returning from ankle ligament damage.

Kane told the official Spurs website: "I was itching to get the hat-trick.

"I had a couple of chances towards the end where the keeper pulled off a good save and then a couple of tired finishes, you could say.

"But I'm happy with the two goals and the most important thing is the three points."

Tottenham remain fifth in the Premier League table following their win but are now only three points behind Manchester City in fourth.
