Mauricio Pochettino: 'Arsenal can win the league'

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino says that Arsenal are playing the best football in the Premier League and are one of the favourites for the title.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that Arsenal have every chance of winning the Premier League this season.

The Saints face the league leaders at the Emirates on Saturday, with Pochettino admitting that he has been impressed with their recent form.

"I would say that the team that we're going to play against on Saturday is the one that's playing the best football in the league," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.

"I think they can win the league, but I also think that there's other teams that are going to be in the running to win the league.

"I think it's going to be a hard-fought competition throughout until the end of the season. It's going to be very competitive and I think it's going to be a very exciting end to the season."

Southampton are currently third in the table, three points behind Arsenal.
