Dave Jones receives a one-match suspended ban following a sideline brawl between Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton.

Dave Jones has been handed a one-match suspended ban after being charged with improper conduct following a recent match.

The Sheffield Wednesday manager was sent to the stands in the Owls' 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion after both benches clashed on the sideline, triggered by a Danny Pugh challenge on Inigo Calderon during the game.

As well as the ban, which is suspended until the end of next season, Jones has been fined £2,000.

A charge against Brighton's first-team coach Charlie Oatway for his involvement in the fracas was withdrawn.
