Report: Real Madrid plot £60m move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku

Ten-time European champions Real Madrid will reportedly launch a £60m summer raid for Everton's star striker Romelu Lukaku.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on signing Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in a £60m summer move.

Lukaku has been linked with a host of top European clubs having scored 25 goals in 37 matches this season for the Toffees.

According to The Sun, Real scouts have watched the 22-year-old on several occasions this season and discussions between the Bernabeu outfit and Lukaku's agent have already taken place.

Real were recently hit with a transfer ban by FIFA, but it is currently suspended due to an appeal which the club hope will at least allow them to sign players this summer even if they cannot get it dismissed.

Belgian striker Lukaku is under contract at Goodison Park until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
