Chris Coleman: 'Gareth Bale should be fit for Clasico'

Wales boss Chris Coleman claims that Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale will be fit to face Barcelona in El Clasico on November 21.

Wales boss Chris Coleman has claimed that Gareth Bale will be fit to represent Real Madrid in El Clasico against Barcelona later this month.

Bale has not played for Los Blancos since aggravating a calf problem during the last international break, and he has been left out of the Wales squad for the upcoming friendly with Netherlands.

Coleman has said that the attacker will "probably" feature in Real Madrid's next game after the international break, which is against Barcelona on November 21.

"I think, having [had] the correspondence with Madrid, he'll probably figure in the next game for them [after the international break] I would imagine," Coleman told reporters.

"But they want to use this time wisely and carefully and get him up to speed. We respect that. Gareth also wants to do what's right. It's not in our nature to take risks with players."

Real Madrid return to La Liga action with a trip to Sevilla this weekend.
