Chris Hughton: 'Newcastle United were better than us'

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton admits that his side were outplayed during Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Newcastle United at Carrow Road.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has admitted that his side were outplayed during Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.

The visiting Magpies twice struck the woodwork and registered 22 shots at Carrow Road.

"Newcastle were very good and better on the ball than us," Hughton told BBC Sport. "We got to grips better in the second half."

Both sides ended the match with 10 men, after Loic Remy and Bradley Johnson were shown straight red cards for clashing late on.
