Report: Newcastle United have no plans to sack manager Alan Pardew

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley reportedly has no plans to sack manager Alan Pardew, who has come under fire from a number of fans.

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley reportedly has no immediate intention to sack manager Alan Pardew.

The 52-year-old has come under fire from a number of supporters following a run of defeats, the latest a 1-0 loss to Stoke City on Saturday.

Following the match, Pardew admitted that he did not feel that his job was safe at St James' Park.

According to the Northern Echo, despite pressure from the fans rising, the club's hierarchy are not considering Pardew's dismissal at this time.

The Magpies have secured just one victory in six fixtures since Pardew was issued with a seven-match ban for headbutting Hull City's David Meyler.
