Newcastle United's Alan Pardew could lose job depending on Cardiff City result?

Alan Pardew could reportedly be replaced by Joe Kinnear if Newcastle United fail to get a result against Cardiff City this weekend.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew could reportedly be booted out of St James' Park if the Magpies fail to get a result against Cardiff City on Saturday.

The North-East outfit are currently 16th in the Premier League table following two straight defeats.

While Pardew has dismissed rumours of a possible departure, it is understood that the ex-West Ham United boss is under pressure to keep his job.

Owner Mike Ashley is said to be open to replacing Pardew with director of football Joe Kinnear for the time being if the Magpies stumble to defeat against Cardiff at the weekend, according to The Express.

Pardew signed an eight-year contract at the club last year.
