West Bromwich Albion reportedly make an enquiry about the availability of Manchester United winger Daniel James during the January transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly become the latest club to express an interest in signing Manchester United winger Daniel James during the January transfer window.

Leeds United, Burnley, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the other Premier League clubs to have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old, who has struggled for regular first-team football so far this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is thought to be open to the idea of sending James out on loan in order for him to gain more first-team experience, and the Daily Star reports that West Brom have now also joined the race.

New Baggies boss Sam Allardyce has reportedly enquired as to the Wales international's availability next month as he looks to bolster his squad in an attempt to stay in the Premier League this season.

James has made just five starts in the top flight this season, although two of those have come in Man United's last two games.

The winger started and scored in the recent 6-2 thrashing of Leeds and retained his spot for Saturday's 2-2 draw with Leicester City, although he was taken off less than 10 minutes into the second half of that game.
