Manchester United could be about to finally land Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with the Serbian having reportedly told his teammates that he will be leaving.

Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has reportedly told his Lazio teammates that he will be leaving the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

The Red Devils were believed to be strongly interested in the 24-year-old last season under Jose Mourinho and are said to have renewed their interest ahead of the upcoming campaign.

According to Il Tiempo, the Serbian has already said his goodbyes to his Lazio teammates, having apparently agreed a contract with the Premier League side.

United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of the midfielder, with the Italian side lowering their asking price from £90m to somewhere between £70m and £80m.

The Serbian scored five goals in Serie A in the 2018-19 campaign, having netted 12 the season before.

United completing the signing of Milinkovic-Savic could add further speculation surrounding Paul Pogba's future, with Real Madrid still interested in the Frenchman.
