Jose Mourinho 'not ruling out transfer swoop for Eden Hazard'

A report claims that Manchester United may be about to join Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to break their own British transfer record fee to bring Eden Hazard to the club from Premier League rivals Chelsea.

The Belgium international is said to have rejected the offer of a £300,000-a-week deal at Stamford Bridge, leading to interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to The Sun, a third team could be about to join the race as United boss Jose Mourinho is considering a £90m approach for next summer.

Madrid remain the favourites to sign Hazard, who was a part of Mourinho's title-winning squad at Chelsea in 2014-15, but the Red Devils may be willing to outbid the European champions.

United hold the British transfer record after splashing out £89m for Paul Pogba last year, while the £75m paid to Everton for Romelu Lukaku in the summer could rise to £90m.
